Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Fixes, Improvements, and Performance Optimizations Released
January 23, 2026 - The development team behind Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen has released a significant update addressing a variety of gameplay mechanics, quality of life improvements, and technical performance issues.
New Features
- Chat Input Cycle: Players can now cycle through interacted characters using the Tab key while the chat input field is open.
- Audio Engine Upgrade: The WWISE audio engine has been upgraded, offering improved performance and better control over audio leveling.
- Visuals: Transitions between day and night cycles have been improved in most areas.
Bug Fixes
- Pets: Mobs will no longer attack a pet’s master when the pet is ordered to back off.
- Inventory: Players can no longer swap a saddle bag with an item from their inventory.
- Mounts: It is now possible to split stacked items in a mount’s saddle bag. Wizard familiars are no longer duplicated while mounted.
- Respawns: Leonus in Black Rose Keep now respawns correctly after being killed.
- Mechanics: Hunger and thirst no longer increase more rapidly while mounted.
- Environment: Players were incorrectly considered underwater in an area of the Silent Plains; this has been fixed.
- Stability: The frequency of players falling through the world upon login has been reduced.
- Performance: Tel’Daedras fight particles using custom shaders and Bindstone VFX causing performance loss near them have been removed.
- Items: The Cursed Shriekbane Haste has been removed from remaining items. The name of one variant of the Sister Palia item has been corrected.
- Haste: Haste of all types has been temporarily disabled and will be re-enabled in a future update.
